Company Profile

Medcast was established in 1985 to manufacture castings using lost wax technology. Providing the orthopedic industry with casting and non destructive testing solutions were the company’s primary objectives.

The company was purchased by its current owners in 1991 and since evolved and developed the company to what it is today. The company is built on traditional mid-western values.

The plant consists of 30,000 sq.ft. in manufacturing space on a 4 acre lot and hence has space for a further expansion of 50-60,000 sq.ft. Plans are in place for an in-house machine shop.

The owners of Medcast have a policy of reinvesting all profits made from the company that provides for research and development programs and purchase of machinery and technology that will improve the quality and performance of its products.
